Dr. Katie Beckworth Narvaez is a Charlotte, NC native.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Louisiana State University before going on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Beckworth joined Coddle Creek in 2026 as the Medical Lead Veterinarian. Prior to this role, she served as a Lead Veterinarian at a small animal practice, where she developed a strong passion for mentorship, clinical excellence, and team leadership.
Her professional interests include preventive medicine, end-of-life care, dentistry, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, thorough care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
At home, Dr. Beckworth shares her life with her husband, her two children, and three dogs, Penny, Tucker, and Marco. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new restaurants, and relaxing with a good book on the beach.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is building lasting relationships with clients while providing the highest level of care to their beloved pets. She cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members!
