
Dr. Kira Packan is originally from Tennessee. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Murray State University in Kentucky.
Subsequently, she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee.
Previous work experience includes an associate veterinary position at a veterinary practice in the University area of Charlotte, NC before joining the staff at Coddle Creek Animal Hospital.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.
Dr. Packan has professional special interests in reptiles, pocket pets (small mammals) and small animal soft tissue surgery. She enjoys horseback trail riding, reading, making jewelry and her pet reptiles.
